low emulsion or worn out feed
Im new to the shop but not in the store and i am comfortably used too tunning but lately using the micro tunning machine i notice marks of waves on mostly boards and some wide skis, and once in a while they stick on the belt or stone. Im been told "add more emulsion!" but according to the mix, it shoud be good even after adding more it still does that. I think is the feed? I really appreciate some highlights on what you think. thx

By sticking to the belt or stone are you saying that the skis/boards stop for a second as you feed them through? If this is the case to much emulsion could be the problem. Emulsion, among other things, is a lubricant and can make the top skin very slick. This can cause the feed to lose grip and the ski/board to stop feeding and start again. It can even cause the ski/board to be ejected from the machine.
You may also want to clean or dress the feed wheels by SLOWLY lowering them onto the belt or stone and remove enough material so you can see fresh rubber all the way across the wheel. For the stone dress the stone for an aggressive structure, (15 mm/s or more) and use the height adjustment wheel to lower the feed wheel until you hear it start to remove material. The motor should not bog down at all. Use a little coolant to help keep the wheel cool. Continue lowering the wheel as the rubber is removed until the wheel is fresh rubber across the entire width. This could take 10 minutes or more. For the belt use a broken in 100 grit belt and a 13mm wrench slowly lower the height adjust bolt until the feed wheel touches the belt.
